A model from Toronto, Canada, says she has been approached by wealthy parents offering six-figure payments to date their sons. CeCe Rose, 26, claims that mothers and fathers see her as a 'status symbol' and are desperate for their children to be seen with her.
Rose, who has over 2.1 million Instagram followers, said parents have contacted her saying their sons have no prospects and they worry they will never find a partner like her. One parent allegedly offered her six figures to 'show him what a real relationship feels like'.
The influencer, who dropped out of school at 15 and worked multiple jobs to survive, said she is not tempted by the offers. 'Once you accept that kind of money to be someone's perfect partner, you become a bird in a gilded cage,' she said. 'I won't be someone else's property.'
Rose also mentioned that an Arab prince offered her a life of luxury to marry him, but she declined. She emphasised the importance of independence, having built her own career from humble beginnings.
