Mis-Teeq's Su-Elise Nash in Early Talks for I'm A Celebrity 2026
Mis-Teeq's Su-Elise Nash in Talks for I'm A Celeb

ITV bosses are reportedly eyeing up a major 2000s hitmaker for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The star is back in the spotlight after reuniting with her bandmates for a recent performance, but she could be about to go solo once again.

Mis-Teeq's Reunion Sparks Interest

Mis-Teeq recently reunited for a special surprise performance at the Britain's Got Talent final last month. Made up of the iconic trio Alesha Dixon, Su-Elise Nash, and Sabrina Washington, the girls got the crowd going as they sang some of their biggest tracks.

Now, Su-Elise, 45, could be the next star to enter the I'm A Celebrity jungle as bosses at the channel try to move past the debacle of their last South African series. However, ITV has neither confirmed nor denied they have reached out to Su-Elise.

Previous Jungle Near-Miss

According to the Sun, the girl group have stormed back into the public eye thanks to their stellar BGT performance in May. Things have also been going well with their live performances, after they performed to a sold-out festival at Wembley Arena last week. Their return to success has reportedly caught the eye of bosses at I'm A Celebrity, who are looking at asking Su-Elise to do the show this year. However, this is not the first time Su-Elise has been asked to go on the show. Back in 2008, Su-Elise was slated to go into camp, but ultimately pulled out. Instead, bandmate Sabrina would end up going into the jungle during the 2009 series, ultimately being voted off with three days to go until the final.

Speaking to the newspaper, a source close to Su-Elise said: "Su was incredibly supportive of Sabrina's jungle experience and now she could get her own shot. There have been early talks for her to be considered." The insider added: "The reunion has reminded everyone just how much love there still is for Mis-Teeq." ITV, however, told the newspaper: "Any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity are just speculation."

ITV's South African Series Fallout

It comes as bosses continue to try to move past the chaos that came from the latest South African edition of the show back in April. Despite I'm A Celeb being ITV's third biggest show last year, headlines were dominated by the spring season of the show and the rift between Adam Thomas, David Haye, and Jimmy Bullard. Tensions boiled over when Jimmy decided to leave the show in the middle of a trial. However, while paired with Adam, pulling out of the trial would mean both stars would be forced to go home. An irate Adam launched a tirade of swears at Jimmy, a lot of which was never broadcast. The final also saw chaos ensue when a row erupted once again, causing some stars to walk off the show.
