Michelle Keegan has shared how her daughter is just like her, as she posted a rare photo of her little girl on social media over the weekend.
The actress, who was born in Stockport and grew up in Salford, and TV star husband Mark Wright welcomed their first child, Palma Elizabeth Wright, in March 2025. The couple announced they were expecting their first child together in a pregnancy announcement just after Christmas 2024, which featured Michelle debuting her baby bump on a Spanish beach.

Michelle and Mark, both 39, largely keep their daughter, now one, out of the spotlight and have never revealed her likeness publicly. However, they do offer some updates on their family life, and over the weekend Michelle shared a sweet photo of her little girl as they enjoyed a family get-together.
The former Coronation Street star shared a photo of the toddler wearing beige dungarees with pink fluffy slippers on her feet while playing with a balloon that said “congrats” and “congratulations” across it. She then reshared a photo of Palma peeking her head around a door, taken by her cousin Katie Fearnehough, who said: “The slippers though [face holding back tears emoji].” Michelle replied: “Like mother like daughter [pink hearts and crying laughing face emojis].”
Balancing work and motherhood
It comes after Michelle recently opened up about the challenges of balancing her career with being a new mother. She is currently starring in ITV's latest crime drama, The Blame, opposite Douglas Booth. She told Grazia that she did not realise how difficult it would be to adjust to her new life as a mother.
“Listen, I think I went in blind,” she said. “Obviously, I agreed to the role before I had Palma, because I was so excited by it. I think you just believe that you're going to be fine. And of course I can do it, loads of women work full-time and are a mum. But it is hard. It's really hard.”
She continued: “I had long days and had to go home and learn a lot of lines for the next day and be fresh, but still look after the baby at night when she was up. Luckily Mark’s brilliant, he's a great partner and he’s such a good dad as well.”
