In this grim reality, the United Kingdom is overwhelmed by asylum seekers, who face detention, deportation, and even execution by the government.

Star-Studded Cast

Clive Owen stars as civil servant Theo Faron, who aids a refugee named Kee. The cast also includes Julianne Moore, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Charlie Hunnam, and Michael Caine. Caine portrays Jasper, an old hippy inspired by his friend John Lennon.
