Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have marked their eighth wedding anniversary by releasing previously unseen photographs from their 2018 wedding. The Duchess of Sussex posted a carousel of snaps on Instagram, crediting photographer Chris Allerton. Some images had previously appeared in the 2022 Netflix documentary 'Harry & Meghan', but others were new to the public. The couple now lives in Montecito, California, with their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, four.
In the caption, Meghan wrote: 'Eight years ago today,' alongside the photos. The wedding, attended by Oprah Winfrey and Serena Williams, remains one of the most-watched royal events in recent history. Since stepping back from royal duties, Harry and Meghan have focused on their Archewell Foundation and media projects.
2026 has been a busy year for the couple. Last month, they completed a four-day trip to Australia, their first visit since 2018. During the trip, Meghan spoke candidly about the challenges of public life, describing it as 'very hard' at times, while also reflecting on the 'amazing moments' since meeting Harry in 2016.
