Maura Higgins in Talks with Hollywood Execs After Debut Film Premiere

Maura Higgins is reportedly in discussions with Hollywood executives following the premiere of her debut film, The Spin. The former Love Island star, who plays Rose in the Irish comedy, impressed industry insiders at the screening in London last Friday.

According to sources, Higgins' performance was the talk of the event, with many praising her acting ability. 'Everyone was talking about Maura and how great she was. She can act and people were impressed,' a source said. 'There were a lot of important people from the film world in that room and conversations were taking place about what she does next.'

Director Michael Head described Higgins as 'a dream to work with' and tipped her for success. 'Maura was thrown in the deep end, but she was brilliant,' he said. 'She didn't have an ego and took direction well. I would work with her at the drop of a hat again.' He added that he would not be surprised if she appeared in a Hollywood blockbuster.

Higgins has been busy with various projects, including campaigns with L'Oreal and Oh Polly, following her split from Pete Wicks and a reported kiss with Danny Jones. She has also been seen mingling with Hollywood elite, including Margot Robbie.

The Spin follows two friends on a road trip across Ireland to save their record store. The film also stars Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt and has won Best Irish Feature Film at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival.
