Martin Kemp Breaks Daughter's Jungle Rule on I'm A Celebrity

Martin Kemp's daughter Harleymoon has revealed that the Spandau Ballet singer has already broken the one rule she gave him before entering the I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here jungle. The 64-year-old star arrived on the show by jumping out of a helicopter, a stunt Harleymoon had specifically asked him to avoid.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Harleymoon expressed her frustration: "It's the one thing that I said, 'Dad, if you're doing it, please don't jump out of a helicopter.' There he was, spinning around." She admitted she would like to see her father "stressed and rattled" in the toughest trials possible.

Martin is not the first Kemp to enter the jungle; his son Roman finished third in the 2019 series. Roman has joked about seeking revenge after Martin urged fans to vote for him to do Bushtucker Trials. On the 'You About?' podcast, Roman recalled: "I thought, 'Oh my God the public must hate you'... Turns out it was because you tweeted something being like, 'I want to see my son eat kangaroo b*******'."

Harleymoon, 36, is the eldest daughter of Martin and his wife Shirlie, who also have son Roman, 32. She described her father as a "cool, chilled guy" but expressed a desire to see him challenged in the jungle environment.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
