Martin Kemp's Daughter Reveals His I'm A Celebrity Rule Break
Martin Kemp breaks daughter's jungle rule on I'm A Celebrity

Martin Kemp's daughter has revealed that the Spandau Ballet star has already broken his promise to her just moments into his I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here adventure. Harleymoon Kemp, 36, expressed her frustration after watching her 64-year-old father perform the exact helicopter stunt she'd specifically asked him to avoid.

The Helicopter Heart-Stopper

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Harleymoon shared her mixed feelings about her father's jungle participation. "I was on the edge of my seat watching my 64-year-old dad jump out of a helicopter," she confessed to hosts Susanna Reid and her co-host. "It's the one thing that I said, 'Dad, if you're doing it, please don't jump out of a helicopter.' There he was, spinning around."

The musician entered the Australian jungle in dramatic fashion, leaping from a helicopter alongside fellow celebrities including Loose Women's Kelly Brook, rapper Aitch, comedian Eddie Kadi and EastEnders' Shona McGarty. The daring entrance marked the beginning of what promises to be an eventful series for the veteran performer.

Family Jungle History Repeats Itself

This isn't the first time the Kemp family has been involved with the reality show. Martin's son Roman Kemp previously competed in the 2019 series, ultimately finishing in third place behind winner Jacqueline Jossa and runner-up Andy Whyment.

The sibling revelation comes as Roman plans to get revenge on his father for encouraging viewers to vote for him during Bushtucker Trials in his series. During an episode of Roman and Tom Grennan's podcast 'You About?', The One Show host reminded his father: "I need to get you back because, I don't know if you remember, you sent out a tweet when I was in there."

Roman described initially believing the public disliked him when he kept being selected for trials, only to discover later that Martin had tweeted: "I want to see my son eat kangaroo b*******." Martin cheerfully admitted: "I was the ringleader, to be honest with you."

What's Next for Martin in the Jungle?

Despite her concerns about the helicopter stunt, Harleymoon expressed enthusiasm about seeing her father face his fears in the jungle. "I would love people to put him in the worst possible trial there is and rattle him," she revealed. "He's such a cool, chilled guy and he's got it all together. I think he'll be very loving and supportive to the other campmates but I would like to see him stressed and rattled."

When questioned about what might genuinely frighten her typically unflappable father, Harleymoon speculated: "I don't know - that's the thing. I think he could be if he was pushed. Maybe something in the dark or maybe something with heights."
