Mark Wright has described how becoming parents has changed the couple's approach to holidays, admitting that trips are now seen "from their eyes" after they welcomed their daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright in 2025.
Speaking on Heart FM with colleague Olly Murs, the former TOWIE star responded to Olly's account of his own first proper family holiday with wife Amelia and their children, Madison and Albert. Olly conceded the trip had some "tough moments", but described it as an "unbelievable week".
Family holidays take centre stage
Mark then explained how he and Michelle Keegan are preparing for a similar experience, saying: "And I suppose with these kind of holidays...cos we're going to the same place with Palma."
"And it's the first time we're going to go away properly for, like, a longer period. And I suppose you have to just accept that you're seeing...you're doing a holiday from their eyes."
He added: "It's like seeing them make memories, rather than...cos like, it's only a few years ago, you're lying on a bed, sunbed, all day."
Michelle's Halloween plans and ITV return
The conversation later turned to autumn and Halloween, with Mark revealing Michelle's enthusiasm for the season: "Yeah, loves Halloween. She tried to call in a party at the house. I said no, cos I don't like mess the next day."
Mark's comments come as Michelle prepares to return to ITV in the six-part thriller series The Blame, where she plays DI Emma Crane. The drama follows detectives from Wakestead Police Station investigating the death of a teenage figure skater, and "dives into secrets, suspicion and systemic corruption - all under the surface of a seemingly quiet town".
Mark previously told Olly that he had been helping Michelle run through her lines for the role, recalling an emotional scene where he played the other character: "Once right, there was an emotional scene, and I was playing the other emotional character and I started going, '[Puts on crying voice] Well, listen, you can't say it like that!' And she was like, 'What are you doing? You're throwing me!'"
