Made in Chelsea star Rebecca Collins, known as 'Beks', has spoken candidly about the emotional toll of her high-profile split from fellow cast member Freddie Knatchbull. The 24-year-old reality TV favourite described navigating a breakup on camera as one of her toughest challenges yet.
“Breakups are hard enough in normal life,” she said. “But having it filmed adds a whole other layer of heartache. You don’t think about the cameras at the time, but then you have to relive it all again when it airs. It’s like going through it twice.”
Collins and Knatchbull, the great-grandson of Lord Mountbatten, were introduced as a couple when she joined the show in 2024 for season 28. Their relationship unravelled in front of viewers, a process she says tested her resilience. “Normally, after a breakup, you might never see that person again. But in this situation, we’re still in the same circle. We’ve had to go on trips together, film together… You just have to learn to get on with it.”
Despite the heartache, Collins is focusing on herself and is not actively dating. “I’m not dating anyone specifically,” she said. “I’m really happy and content as I am. I’m quite independent, but I am also a massive lover girl!” She hinted at receiving attention from celebrities but declined to name names.
Beyond her love life, Collins has become a fan favourite on the show. She recently filmed scenes at her family home, featuring her mother and horses, which she called “really special”. Growing up around horses, she used to compete in eventing and hopes to revisit the sport. After studying Philosophy at Bristol University, she trained as a yoga instructor in Bali, a path she described as “amazing”.
