Home and Away actor Luke Jacobz has announced the birth of his second child, a son named John James Scott, with his wife Raychel. The 44-year-old, known for playing Angelo Rosetta on the Australian soap opera, shared the news on Instagram, revealing the baby was conceived naturally after years of IVF treatments.
The couple, who already have a daughter, Maisie, named their son after family members. Luke wrote: 'We named him after my Dad, Raychel’s Dad and uncle. Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on.' He also praised his wife's 'bravery, love, true grit and determination.'
Luke and Raychel, 37, met in 2017 and began trying for a baby the following year. They experienced three early miscarriages before Maisie was born in 2023. Luke previously said they were 'so close to not trying anymore' due to the emotional toll.
Luke first rose to fame in the late 1990s on Australian teen drama Heartbreak High before joining Home and Away. He later won Dancing With The Stars in 2008 and hosted The X Factor Australia.
