Luisa Zissman, the 38-year-old former Apprentice star, has posted a defiant bikini photo on Instagram after being criticised by trolls who branded her 'malnourished'. The mother-of-three shared the snap on Thursday, showing off her toned figure in a white balconette bikini, with the caption 'Endless summer of fun'.
The post came hours after she launched a scathing attack on critics who commented on her weight following a previous holiday selfie. In a lengthy response, Zissman hit back at what she called 'skinny shamers', writing: 'Imagine I went round calling of you biscuit eating McDonald's loving lazy people fatties'. She insisted her body is the result of 'energetic, health and mostly clean living'.
Zissman also addressed accusations of Photoshop, stating the image was natural aside from a filter. She added: 'If you got off your as*es and stopped shoving sh*t in your mouths you wouldn't be as fat and fat wouldn't be normal. Just because the majority of people are overweight does NOT mean it's healthy.'
Several Instagram users had expressed concern, with comments such as 'you genuinely look unhealthy and very malnourished' and 'this culture of ultra slim is a concern'. However, body confidence advocate Ashley James defended Zissman, urging people to 'normalise not discussing people's weight'.
Zissman, who shot to fame on The Apprentice in 2013, frequently showcases her fitness on social media. She concluded her rebuttal by questioning why she should not post holiday pictures like anyone else, saying: 'Just cause I'm fit, slim and healthy everyone has an issue.'
