Former Love Island star Jessy Potts has revealed the bizarre aftermath of villa life after discovering some of her missing outfits had apparently found a new home in her fellow Islanders' wardrobes.
Reality TV favourite Jessy Potts lifted the lid on one of the less glamorous sides of life in the famous ITV villa while chatting to Daily Star in collaboration with MeccaBingo. While viewers see perfectly curated outfits and endless glam looks on screen, Jessy says things behind the scenes were far more chaotic.
Missing Clothes Mystery
When asked whether anything ever mysteriously disappeared during her time on the show, Jessy didn't hesitate. 'Oh my God, it was crazy,' she laughed.
'It was so hectic because there were so many girls all in one small dressing room, and the cleaners would come in every lunchtime and dinnertime and put everything away, so you're always missing things.'
And while she can't remember every missing item, she admitted some of her clothes definitely never made it back home. 'I can't think of anything specific, but there are definitely a few outfits that have ended up in other people's suitcases.'
In fact, Jessy later spotted some of her former villa looks being worn by fellow Islanders after filming wrapped. 'I've seen people wearing them since the show, but I'm like, well, I'll probably never wear it again anyway, so it's gone to a better home.'
Life After Love Island
Despite the occasional disappearing outfit, Jessy looks back fondly on her Love Island experience, which she says completely changed her life. 'It's definitely been a wild journey from two years ago when I first went on it. It's definitely changed my life for the better.'
Before finding reality TV fame, Jessy worked in FinTech, but admits her life today couldn't be more different. 'You get a lot more freedom and different opportunities. I was working in FinTech before, which definitely wasn't necessarily my dream job. It's a very different job to what I'm doing now, but I love the fact that I've got the flexibility and freedom and I get to travel all the time.'
One of those opportunities recently saw her tick off a major career goal when she walked at Miami Swim Week. 'That was the most insane experience,' she said. 'Miami Swim Week is probably one of the biggest things in my career so far.'
Dating Life and Future Plans
Away from work, Jessy says she's currently happy with how life is going. 'I feel like it's a bit early for me to kiss and tell, but I'm happy as I am at the minute,' she teased. 'Dating life is going well, we'll put it that way.'
And while she's not ruling out more TV appearances in future, it sounds like she's ready for something completely different next. 'I would love to do another TV show,' she said. 'Maybe something like The Traitors, I'm A Celebrity, SAS or Strictly.'
