Numerous Love Island viewers were taken aback after an old photograph of one contestant posing alongside a 'doppelganger' of his fellow Islander emerged on social media.
As ITV's popular dating reality programme enters its third week of the 13th series, the dramatic developments are beginning to unfold rapidly. There's been plenty of romantic interests shifting as Islanders weigh up which coupling might offer the best prospects for finding love and claiming the prize money.
This involves Lorenzo Alessi, who has been growing closer to multiple fellow Islanders. While he was initially partnered with Jasmine, the duo appear to experience a clash of personalities and both explored alternative options.
The 28 year old entrepreneur ultimately recoupled with bombshell Priya. Yet, he left the girls and certain viewers exasperated by proving completely incapable of deciding who he wished to pursue.
Throughout recent episodes, audiences have observed him trying to forge a connection with Yasmin, who is currently coupled with Aidan. Nevertheless, through some covert manoeuvring and help from Sean, Lorenzo and Yasmin managed to spend time together on the terrace where they exchanged a kiss, reports OK!.
Audiences are left waiting to discover whether the duo will make things official or if Yasmin will end things with Aidan instead. Yet now, an old photograph of Lorenzo has re-emerged online featuring Yasmin's 'lookalike'.
Certain fans were even persuaded it genuinely was Yasmin at first glance and incorrectly assumed it indicated the pair secretly knew one another prior to the programme. In reality, the photograph appears to feature Lorenzo with adult content creator Bonnie Blue.
The pair look relaxed while posing together in swimwear with their arms around one another. They seem to be at what looks like a beach club venue. Fans haven't been able to identify the exact location, though both are sporting yellow wristbands.
According to The Tab, the snap was captured in Ibiza last year. This would align with images and clips Bonnie posted in August 2025 from her visit there, during which she even encountered the holidaymaker nicknamed 'Ibiza Final Boss'.
Fans have been gobsmacked by the photograph and have swiftly drawn comparisons between Yasmin and Bonnie. One viewer confessed: "Is that Bonnie blue or Yasmin? I can't even tell." Another remarked: "Yasmin and Bonnie Blue actually do resemble each other, and this photo just confirmed I wasn't hallucinating... someone back me up here."
Someone else noted: "Him going for Yasmin all adds up now." While another viewer said: "This is crazy I've been thinking Yasmin looks like Bonnie Blue this whole time and now I see this photo, someone tell me I'm not crazy!"
Meanwhile, a fan wrote: "Thought this was Yasmin for a second! She looks like Bonnie Blue and Sabrina Carpenter's other sister." Other viewers have even proposed that Bonnie Blue ought to enter the villa as the next bombshell to see what unfolds. Some have suggested the photograph should be revealed to Jasmine, who has previously shared videos expressing her own views on the online personality.
