Love Island viewers have been left fuming after a "red flag" remark about "faking it" as drama continues to escalate in the villa.
There has been no shortage of explosive moments and mayhem for audiences to lap up as Season 13 is well under way. From surprising departures and bombshell new arrivals to messy love triangles, the atmosphere in the Love Island villa remains charged.
Just last night (June 15), a secret kiss triggered furious rows as a kissing challenge sparked further rifts within the group. Tonight's episode (June 16) delivered even more pandemonium with a surprising recoupling and major split.
After kissing Yasmin during the day, Lorenzo was caught kissing Priya that evening in bed, with the revelations emerging the following morning. But the girls were far from impressed as Lola did not mince her words in confronting Priya with some harsh realities.
She said: "I do think it's double standards from you to be fair." She added: "I think it's just a bit insensitive."
Standing her ground, Priya responded: "I did think that, but you know when something just happens?" She then added she was in a couple with Lorenzo.
Yet Lola said she believed Priya had kissed Lorenzo because she "felt a bit s***."
Priya was subsequently spotted in tears as she received consolation from some of the other Islanders. Viewers were split as one person wrote on X: "damn everyone is doing priya so bad it's actually a bit hard to watch."
Another quipped: "Who crowned Lola the queen of the villa." A third commented: "it's not very nice to see multiple girls having a go at one girl im ngl."
A fourth wrote: "Don't get me wrong, I'm not Priya's biggest fan but why are they on her? ? ? Lorenzo's literally the villain here? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?".
A fifth raged: "oh priya got called out now we're crying? LMAOOOOO get this bird out my villa stat."
Later in the episode, Samraj was discussing his new pairing with Priya as he told Lorenzo he was "going to fake it" and give Priya a chance. This comment did not sit well with fans, who spotted the bombshell lying alone on the sunbeds.
One viewer posted on X: "these lot are finished at movie night lol 'i'm just gonna fake it??'." Sharing an image of a red flag, another echoed: "Samraj really makes it difficult to root for him."
A third remarked: "Actually liked Samraj at the start, but I sorta feel bad for Priya when this 'fake it' clip comes out on movie night." A fourth declared: "I feel bad for Priya, I need them to show her that clip of Samraj."
