A new bombshell is preparing to enter the Love Island villa, but she is already accustomed to the limelight thanks to her famous parents. Halle Brown, the 23-year-old daughter of former Manchester United and England footballer Wes Brown and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Leanne Brown, is reportedly set to join the ITV dating show.
Following in Famous Footsteps
Halle's rumored appearance comes after Love Island has previously featured several children of celebrities, including Gemma Owen, whose father Michael Owen played alongside Wes for both England and Manchester United. Michael represented England from 1998 to 2008 and Manchester United from 2009 to 2012, while Wes played for England between 1999 and 2010 and Manchester United from 1996 to 2011.
According to The Sun, Halle will enter the villa this summer, though the exact timing of her arrival has not been confirmed.
Background and Career
Halle graduated with a first-class degree from the Addict Dance Academy in Leicester in 2024. Since then, she has worked in theatre, both in London and for Warner Bros World Abu Dhabi shows. Her television debut comes after her parents announced their shock split in 2022. Wes and Leanne, who was an original cast member of Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2015, were married for 20 years and have three daughters: Halle, Lilia (18), and Lola (15).
Other Celebrity Relatives on Love Island
Love Island has featured numerous relatives of well-known figures. Last year, Dejon Noel-Williams, son of footballer Gifton Noel-Williams, was part of the original lineup. Jack Keating, son of Ronan Keating, and Antigoni Buxton, whose mother is celebrity chef Tonia Buxton, have also appeared. Belle Hassan's father Tamer Hassan is an actor known for The Football Factory, while Casa Amor girl Claudia Fogarty is the daughter of I'm a Celebrity winner Carl Fogarty.
Perhaps the most famous is Dani Dyer, daughter of actor Danny Dyer, who won series four and has since become a prominent reality TV star, hosting a podcast with her father and appearing on Strictly Come Dancing. She married West Ham footballer Jarrod Bowen. Tommy Fury, brother of world champion boxer Tyson Fury, met his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague on the show, and they now have two children. Sophie Piper is the sister of The Saturdays star Rochelle Humes.
