Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson has returned home after nearly three weeks in hospital, sharing details of her latest health scare with fans. The 33-year-old reality TV star, who has faced severe complications since giving birth in 2021, said her brain still feels 'too tangled' to form full sentences.
Thompson fell ill during a family holiday but initially tried to ignore her symptoms to enjoy time with her young son. She later revealed she was 'losing cup fulls of blood' every 20 minutes and booked an early flight back to the UK, going straight to A&E where she was admitted immediately.
The star's fiancé Ryan Libbey had previously updated fans on her condition, noting that doctors were uncertain when she would be discharged. Thompson has had multiple hospital stays since the birth of her son Leo-Hunter in November 2021, which left her 'dancing with death' and required weeks of intensive care.
Thompson has been open about her ongoing health battles, including a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and 'depressive panic episodes'. She has described feeling depersonalisation and hyper paranoia during these episodes, which can last hours or days and leave her unable to function.
In a previous health scare last year, Thompson suffered a 'major haemorrhage' while on holiday, requiring emergency surgery and several litres of blood and fluids. She now attends weekly hospital appointments across six different departments, including gynaecology, gastroenterology, and haematology.
