Lorraine Kelly, 64, attended the Golden Chopsticks Awards on Monday with her pregnant daughter Rosie Smith, 29. The television presenter wore a black leather maxi dress with short sleeves and a belt, paired with animal-print stilettos. Rosie, who is expecting her first child, showcased her baby bump in a sleeveless chocolate maxi dress, accessorised with a black Yves Saint Laurent shoulder bag and black stilettos.
The mother-daughter duo appeared in high spirits as they took their seats at the event, which celebrates East and South East Asian cuisine across the UK. The outing comes amid reports that Michelle Visage will temporarily host Lorraine's ITV daytime show during her usual school holidays break.
According to a source quoted by The Mirror, RuPaul's Drag Race star Michelle Visage, 55, has been lined up as a part-time host for Lorraine. The source said: 'ITV has lined up Michelle Visage as a part-time host for its morning chat show Lorraine. She will be hosting the show during a one-off summertime special. She joins the show in a bid to keep it interesting over the summer months.'
Michelle Visage previously appeared as a guest on Lorraine in 2019. Representatives for Michelle and ITV have been contacted for comment. The news follows Lorraine's regular time off in line with school holidays, with other stand-ins including Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh.
