Lorraine Kelly Criticises Brooklyn Beckham Over Family Feud in New DoorDash Ad
Lorraine Kelly Slams Brooklyn Beckham's Family Feud Ad

Lorraine Kelly has criticised Brooklyn Beckham as he escalates his family feud with his parents, Sir David and Victoria Beckham, through his latest job. The aspiring chef and amateur photographer stars in a campaign for US food delivery service DoorDash, which appears to reference his ongoing rift with his celebrity parents.

The DoorDash Ad

In the advertisement, Brooklyn says: "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home." He then smiles at the camera and adds: "It's a long story," before throwing tickets to a match onto a table.

Lorraine's Reaction

Discussing the ad on her ITV daytime show Lorraine on Tuesday, June 16, Lorraine remarked: "Apparently, there is more to come on that. You wonder to yourself – does he really need the money to do that? I just don't get it, I don't understand what is going on."

Background of the Feud

Brooklyn has been engaged in a long-running feud with his parents since January, when he claimed they have been "trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped." He also alleged his wife, Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022, had been "disrespected" by his family. He has not made a public appearance with his parents nor acknowledged them on social media since his statement, in which he also claimed his parents control press narratives about their family and prioritise "Brand Beckham."

David Beckham's Hollywood Walk of Fame

Brooklyn was notably absent during his father's recent Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on Friday, June 12. The former footballer, 51, received a star for elevating soccer's profile in America and his lasting influence on sport, entertainment, and global culture. David was supported by Victoria and three of their four children: sons Romeo and Cruz, and daughter Harper. This appearance seemed to worsen the rift, with representatives for Brooklyn publicly accusing his family of orchestrating a media stunt involving his 14-year-old sister, Harper, over the weekend.

Victoria Beckham's Response

Victoria addressed the feud for the first time in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, stating that she and Sir David "love our children so much" and have "always tried to be the best parents" to Brooklyn, as well as younger sons Cruz and Romeo and daughter Harper.
