Lorraine Kelly Questions Brooklyn Beckham's Ad Money Need

Lorraine Kelly has questioned whether Brooklyn Beckham truly requires the earnings from his contentious World Cup advertisement. The ITV presenter spoke out after the aspiring chef and amateur photographer appeared in a campaign for food delivery service DoorDash, in which he seems to allude to an ongoing family rift.

The Controversial Advert

In the advertisement, Brooklyn says: “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home.” He then smiles at the camera and adds: “It’s a long story.” The clip shows him tossing tickets to a match onto a table.

Lorraine's Reaction

Discussing the ad on her ITV daytime show Lorraine, the host remarked: “Apparently there is more to come on that. You wonder to yourself - does he really need the money to do that? I just don’t get it, I don’t understand what is going on.”

Family Feud Background

Brooklyn has been embroiled in a long-running feud with his parents, Sir David and Lady Victoria Beckham, since his explosive claim in January that they have been “trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.” He also alleged that his wife, Nicola Peltz, had been “disrespected” by his family. Brooklyn has not made a public appearance with his parents nor acknowledged them on social media since his statement, in which he also claimed they control press narratives about their family and prioritize “Brand Beckham.”

Victoria's Response

Victoria addressed the feud for the first time in a recent interview with The Wall Street Journal, stating that she and David “love our children so much” and have “always tried to be the best parents.” The couple, also parents to sons Cruz and Romeo and daughter Harper, have faced public scrutiny over the rift. Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022.
