Lily Allen turned heads at the premiere of The Hunger Games: On Stage at the Troubadour Theatre in London's Canary Wharf on Wednesday night. The 40-year-old singer wore a sheer black dress and Louboutin heels, appearing braless and showing off her thong lingerie.
Allen attended to support director Matthew Dunster, with whom she previously worked on the 2021 play 2:22 - A Ghost Story. The theatre outing came a day after she was seen enjoying a cosy dinner date with writer Jonah Freud at the Michelin-starred Dorian restaurant in Notting Hill.
The singer recently released her album West End Girl, which details the breakdown of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour. In the album, she accuses Harbour of having multiple affairs, including a three-year relationship with a younger costume designer, and hints that he wanted an open marriage after she secured her lead role in 2:22.
Allen and Harbour officially split after she discovered his three-year affair and a profile on the celebrity dating app Raya. She has said that some events in her real life are reflected on the record.
The stage adaptation of The Hunger Games was adapted by Conor McPherson from Suzanne Collins's novel and the Lionsgate film. Mia Carragher, daughter of former footballer Jamie Carragher, makes her stage debut as Katniss Everdeen, a role famously played by Jennifer Lawrence in the films.
