Patsy Kensit has disclosed that she has not seen her ex-husband Liam Gallagher in 26 years, despite their son Lennon attending the Oasis reunion shows. The actress, 57, spoke on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, saying she watched the reunion unfold and found it magical, but added: 'I haven't seen Liam for 26 years. I'm so happy for Lennon because he's gone to watch this cultural explosion.'
Kensit and Gallagher married in 1997 and had son Lennon in 1999, separating in 2000. In a November 2023 interview with HELLO!, she revealed she has had 'no contact' with her former husbands for a long time. She also has a son, James, with Simple Minds' Jim Kerr, to whom she was previously married.
Reflecting on co-parenting, Kensit said: 'I don't have a relationship with their dads, which is really quite sad but it's not about me. It's disappointing but I've always supported a relationship between a father and a child.' She added that she is pleased for the Oasis reunion, contrary to speculation she might be devastated.
On her children leaving home, Kensit admitted it was tough: 'I was so co-dependent on them to the point it wasn't fair on them. It's just broken my heart because they grow, and they leave.'
