Lena Elizabeth Tindall, the youngest daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, celebrates her eighth birthday today, June 18, 2026. Despite being only eight years old, she is a member of one of the world's most famous families, though she has been largely shielded from the spotlight.

Lena at Age One
In August 2019, Lena was pictured at one year old. She is the second-born daughter of Zara and Mike, and her big sister Mia was just four at the time of her birth. Lena became a big sister herself in March 2021 with the arrival of Lucas. She is the fourth grandchild of Princess Anne and currently 24th in line to the throne. Born weighing 9lbs 3oz, she shares the middle name Elizabeth with Princess Charlotte.

Zara is pictured carrying little Lena on day two of the 2019 Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park in Stroud. When they announced Lena's first name, her parents said it is pronounced Lay-na. A spokesman said: 'It was just a name they liked.' The name Lena is of Greek origin, with possible meanings including 'illustrious', 'temptress', and 'the bright one'.

Lena was spotted making faces at Charlotte, now 11, during events for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022. Mike previously spoke of the close bond between his children and Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. He said: 'Lena and Louis are similar ages, and Mia is in between Charlotte and George. Then you have Peter's children Savannah and Isla who are a bit older. James is the oldest. So it's going to be a good little group.'
