Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has made more claims about his alleged 'bust up' with Kerry Katona's boyfriend Paolo Margaglione. Before Lee was arrested and spent time in Al Awir prison in the UAE, Kerry and Paolo flew out to Dubai to join Katie and Lee on their honeymoon.
Lee's Version of Events
In a voice note prior to his arrest, Lee said: 'I'd like to shed some light on the Kerry Katona and Paolo item, because it's not how it reads. There was no punch-up, things like that. To be honest, they had words and they had a bust-up, but they seemed to have put it on me.'
Lee added: 'Kerry was quite rude to me on the day, to be fair, but then they were fine because they'd been drinking a lot, amongst other things, so I can shed some storyline on that, if it helps.'
Source Disputes Lee's Account
However, a source has since insisted Lee has been 'loose with the truth' and that the onlookers' account was correct. They said: 'This is yet another example of Lee being loose with the truth to suit his own agenda. The reality of what happened is the opposite of his account.'
The source told The Sun: 'Tensions came to a head after Paolo stepped in to play peacekeeper with Lee and Katie and the rest is well documented. Both Paolo and Kerry moved on and have no desire to speak anymore with Lee, but there is no ill-feeling towards Katie. It's a difficult situation.'
Kerry and Paolo's Previous Comments
Kerry and Paolo have previously spoken out about the alleged 'punch-up'. Paolo declared he loved Katie 'one on one', while Kerry said she didn't 'agree with all the choices she makes'. Kerry said: 'I have no comment. I am not giving this any oxygen. There you go, that's it. I love Kate to bits.'
Paolo added: 'Kate one on one as a person is amazing. I've met her enough times to make a judgment of her. I think she's an incredible person. I really do. I think she wants to be loved. I think she deserves to be loved. I really, genuinely, sincerely mean that and I think she's an amazing person. And Kerry speaks nothing but good about Kate.'
Not wanting to delve any deeper into the subject, Kerry ended the conversation by saying: 'We're gonna leave it there. It's not my story to tell Paul, either.'
