La Sala, a luxurious restaurant and nightlife venue in Puerto Banús, Marbella, has become a go-to destination for British celebrities. The guest list includes Gemma Collins, Olivia Attwood, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Ronan Keating, James Argent, Denise Van Outen, and Tulisa. During a recent visit, we even spotted DJ and TV personality Tom Zanetti.
Atmosphere and Service
From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the friendly staff, setting the tone for the evening. The restaurant has a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, with live musicians performing throughout dinner. The music creates the perfect soundtrack without overpowering conversation.
Cocktails and Starters
The evening began with cocktails. The Martini Lychee Sala La (€18) was light, sweet, and refreshing. The Caipiroska Berry Red (€18) packed a fruity punch with just the right amount of citrus, making it the perfect summer drink. For starters, we opted for crispy duck spring rolls and vegetable gyozas. The spring rolls were beautifully crisp with a rich duck filling packed with flavour, while the pan-fried gyozas were perfectly cooked with a delicate texture and a delicious savoury filling.
Mains and Dessert
The mains were masterpieces. The duo of chocolate brownies (€10), accompanied by salted caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream, was rich, indulgent, and everything you'd want to round off the meal.
From Dinner to Party
As the evening goes on, La Sala transforms from an elegant restaurant into a full-blown party venue. The live music ramps up, guests leave their tables for the dance floor, and the whole place comes alive. It's the kind of venue where dinner effortlessly turns into a night out, giving you the perfect excuse to burn off those chocolate brownies. With celebrity sightings seemingly around every corner, don't be surprised if your evening comes with an unexpected famous face or two.
