Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan, the iconic on-screen couple from the Australian soap 'Neighbours', reunited at a recent premiere, bringing back memories of their famous romance. The pair played Scott and Charlene in the show, whose wedding in 1987 was watched by a record 19.6 million viewers.
Off-screen, the actors were a couple for three years, but Minogue ended the relationship with a phone call from Japan while Donovan was in New York. She had fallen for INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. Donovan later described the breakup as 'extremely painful', saying it took years to recover.
Minogue went on to have relationships with model James Gooding, actor Olivier Martinez, and model Andres Velencoso. She is currently dating GQ boss Paul Solomons. Donovan married Angela Malloch, with whom he has three children.
