Kevin Costner, the 70-year-old star of Yellowstone, is reportedly in a new relationship with Kelly Noonan Gores, a 46-year-old investment banker and mother of two. The actor, who finalised his divorce from Christine Baumgartner in February 2024, has been seen with Gores at the JAS Labor Day Experience festival in Snowmass Village, Colorado.
According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, Costner is 'dating and happy again after a very dark time in his life.' The insider described Gores as 'exactly his type,' noting shared interests in the outdoors, sports, and long walks with dogs. Gores, a keen watersports enthusiast, has described water as 'my medicine' on social media.
Gores was previously married to billionaire Alec Gores, 72, from 2016 to 2024. She has spoken candidly about the divorce on her podcast, Heal With Kelly, calling it 'excruciating' and 'the hardest year' of her life. Costner, meanwhile, expressed a desire to find love again, telling Fox News he wanted someone 'who wants to be loved' and feels 'at their very best' with that love.
Multiple sources told Us Weekly that the relationship is 'not serious yet' and that Costner and Gores have been 'hanging out casually' after being introduced by mutual friends. They have spent time together in Colorado, where both frequently visit Aspen.
Costner's divorce from Baumgartner, 51, was finalised after a bitter legal battle. He agreed to joint custody of their three children and was ordered to pay over $63,000 per month in child support. Baumgartner is now engaged to their former neighbour, Josh Connor.
