Kevin Costner has shared a rare glimpse into his family life, posting a photo with six of his seven children over the Thanksgiving holiday. The 69-year-old actor took to Instagram on 2 December to express gratitude for the 'many really, really special memories' made with his kids this year.
The carousel of images included a behind-the-scenes look at a family dinner, the premiere of his film Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1, and a beach photo featuring his eldest children Annie, 40, Lily, 38, and Joe, 36 — from his marriage to Cindy Silva — alongside Cayden, 17, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 14, from his marriage to Christine Baumgartner. Not pictured was his son Liam, 28, from a previous relationship.
This Thanksgiving marked a significant milestone for Costner, as it was his first since finalising his divorce from Baumgartner in February after 18 years of marriage. The couple had agreed to joint custody of their three children in September 2023, settling most disputes amicably.
During the divorce proceedings, a judge set Costner's monthly child support payments at $63,209, less than the $175,057 requested by Baumgartner. Costner expressed concern about paying above the needs of his children. The pair first met in 1996 and married in 2004 at his Aspen ranch.
