Kerry Katona has revealed she has undergone lymphatic drainage treatment after being diagnosed with lymphedema. The 42-year-old mother of five shared that she visited Touch of Health clinic for the procedure, which aims to reduce swelling caused by fluid build-up in her legs.
Katona told OK! magazine: 'I have it in my legs and it might have to be operated on. I'm hoping the drainage will be enough to help it.' The diagnosis comes after she had a second tummy tuck to correct a botched operation in 2021, which she said left her feeling 'lumpy' and 'swollen' and made her 'want to cry'.
The former Iceland star admitted she was in tears after not recognising her body following the first surgery. She has since undergone corrective surgery and says she is now happy with the results. 'I've been waiting so long for this surgery after having my tummy tuck in 2021 with a different clinic,' she explained.
Katona, who is engaged to personal trainer Ryan Mahoney, also spoke about her reluctance to marry again after experiencing multiple divorces. She told New! magazine: 'I've been through my fair share of divorces, so I do understand how he feels and it is scary. Me and Ryan fight like cat and dog but I love him to bits and I know I'll be with him forever.'
