Kerry Katona has revealed she would love to have another baby with her new partner Paolo Margaglione, but friends say her desire is driven by a fear that time is running out. The 45-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer, who already has five children, made the announcement in her recent column, stating she is 'definitely open to having more kids'.
A source close to Kerry explained that she feels this is her last chance to expand her family. 'She absolutely adores her family and loves her children,' the source said. 'They're her pride and joy and her priority.' Kerry shares daughters Molly, 24, and Lilly-Sue, 22, with first husband Brian McFadden, and Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with second husband Mark Croft. Her youngest, 11-year-old DJ, was fathered by her late husband George Kay.
Kerry believes Paolo, 34, whom she met on the reality show Celebs Go Dating, would be a wonderful father. 'With Paulo, she really feels like she's met her soulmate,' the source claimed. 'He would like more kids too – it feels like they both want the same thing.' However, some critics have expressed concern that another baby could add pressure or leave Kerry raising the child alone if the relationship fails.
Despite negative comments online, those close to Kerry insist she will not be deterred. 'Kerry doesn't care what other people think,' the source said.
