Kelvin and Liz Fletcher have expressed their delight after ITV confirmed that their popular reality series, Fletchers' Family Farm, will return for two more series. The network has commissioned series five and six following the show's remarkable success, which has garnered 6.3 million streams on ITVX so far this year.
Record-Breaking Viewership
The final episode of the fourth series averaged one million viewers, making it the highest-rated daytime episode to date. The series, which airs in both a Sunday morning and Monday evening slot, is set on the Fletcher family's 120-acre farm in the Peak District. It captures their journey from complete novices to experienced farmers, highlighting the challenges and rewards of rural life.
Continued Success
The Sunday morning broadcast has been ITV's best-performing program in the 11:30 am to 12:30 pm slot this decade. The new commissions will ensure the series continues well into 2027.
Family Reaction
Kelvin and Liz shared in a statement: "We're delighted to be returning for series five and six. What started as a simple desire to share our family's journey has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined." They thanked ITV, Daisybeck Studios, and announced that Fletcher Studios will join as a co-production partner on the series.
