Kelly Osbourne Helps Sharon Step Back into Spotlight After Ozzy's Death

Kelly Osbourne has been a pillar of support for her mother Sharon following the death of Ozzy Osbourne in July. The 41-year-old has helped the 73-year-old make tentative steps back into the public eye, including attending a red carpet event in London last month.

Sharon made her first public appearance since Ozzy's death at Rebecca Vallance's cocktail event on November 26. Kelly later shared on social media: 'I thought my mum looked beautiful and it was so nice to see her have a little fun!' Party insiders said the duo were in good spirits, drinking rosé wine and eating prawn skewer canapes.

The pair also accepted the Lord Mayor's Award in memory of Ozzy on December 3, which would have been his 77th birthday. That same day, Kelly recorded her first interview since her father's death, crying as she described her current state as 'horrific'. She said: 'I've never ever felt anything like grief. I never realised that you could love someone so much.'

Sharon later spoke out about Ozzy's death for the first time on Piers Morgan's YouTube show, Uncensored. The family has also had joyful news: Jack Osbourne's wife Aree is pregnant, announced while Jack was appearing on I'm A Celebrity.
