Keith Urban removed the 2016 track 'The Fighter' from his setlist during Thursday's concert in Hershey, Pennsylvania, amid his shock divorce from Nicole Kidman. The 57-year-old country singer, who returned to the stage for the first time since the split was announced, is believed to have written the song about his now-estranged wife.
Urban also altered the lyrics to his breakup anthem 'You'll Think of Me,' changing the line 'Take your space and take your reasons' to 'Take your bulls*** reasons,' according to Us Weekly. During the performance, he notably ditched his wedding band and kept a photo of Kidman and their teenage daughters in a slideshow for the track 'Heart Like a Hometown.'
The changes come after a recent viral performance of 'The Fighter' where Urban substituted Kidman's name with that of utility player Maggie Baugh, 25, sparking romance speculation. Baugh reposted a clip of the altered lyrics to Instagram with the caption, 'Did he just say that.'
Kidman filed for divorce on Tuesday, citing irreconcilable differences after 19 years of marriage. The couple have two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. A Nashville-based PR source claimed Urban has moved on with a younger woman in the music industry, though the identity remains unconfirmed.
