Keith Urban is facing not only the end of his 19-year marriage to Nicole Kidman but also the prospect of removing several tattoos dedicated to her. The couple's split was confirmed this week, with Kidman reportedly filing for divorce on Tuesday.
Urban, 57, has multiple tattoos honouring his wife, including her name on his right bicep and 'babygirl' on the back of his neck. The latter was a reference to Kidman's role in the 2024 film Babygirl, in which she plays a CEO having an affair with a younger intern. Kidman previously revealed that Urban got the tattoo as a playful claim to the nickname.
Other tributes include 'Mary', Kidman's middle name, on his fingers and her initials 'NMK' elsewhere. Urban also covered up a matching tattoo with ex-girlfriend Niki Taylor using Kidman's initials.
The couple, who share daughters Sunday, 17, and Faith, 15, have reportedly been living apart for three months. A source said Kidman fought to save the marriage but Urban was already 'done'. A custody agreement grants Kidman 306 days with the children per year, leaving Urban with 59.
