Katie Price's sister Sophie has spoken of her 'long week' in a candid video, days after the glamour model's surprise wedding to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews. Sophie, 47, who co-hosts a weekly podcast with Katie, posted an Instagram story in which she appeared tired and made no direct mention of her sister's nuptials.
In the video, Sophie sighed and said: 'Oh it has been a long old week. Yeah, it's been a very long week, very tired. Looking forward to the weekend.' She then showed a seed tray her son Albert had planted, before adding: 'How are we all? How's your week been?'
Katie, 47, announced her engagement to Lee Andrews on Friday evening, hours before revealing they had married in a small ceremony. She wore a £12 dress from Shein, and no friends or family were present. The news reportedly left Sophie, their mother Amy, and other relatives 'horrified' and worried about Katie.
A source claimed the family is planning an intervention, saying: 'Everyone is worried she's spinning out of control. They haven't even met this man and if she's only known him a week, he could be anyone.' Several claims made by Lee, including that he is a billionaire CEO and a director at The King's Trust, have been found to be untrue.
Sophie has not publicly congratulated Katie on her marriage. The weekly podcast they host together, The Katie Price Show, has not released its usual Thursday episode at the time of writing.
