Katie Price has denied being 'drunk and high' after fans accused her of slurring during a recent Instagram Live session. The 45-year-old former glamour model appeared on the platform with her daughter Princess, 15, and later solo, addressing comments about her speech.
Price attributed her slurred words to medication for ADHD, which she takes alongside treatment for severe PTSD. She told viewers: 'Everyone says I sound high. I'm not high at all. I'm on medication for my ADHD. I suffer from severe PTSD. I don't have to explain myself.'
During the live stream, Price showed her medication, escitalopram, which the NHS says is used for depression, anxiety, OCD, and panic attacks. She explained she had to have an ECG due to a hole in her heart before being prescribed the drug.
The live session also featured a swipe at her ex-fiancé Carl Woods. Price removed a personalised Hollywood star bearing his name from her wall, saying 'Goodbye Carl,' while Princess reacted with 'Oh wow.' Price added, 'Well he doesn't need to be on the wall anymore, does he?'
Price gave a tour of her 'Mucky Mansion' in Sussex, showing her kitchen sink and introducing her dogs. She insisted she is honest about everything, stating: 'I am nuts and discombobulated but I have been through s***. Love me or hate me I don't really care.'
