Katie Price has revealed that her recent breakdown left her children traumatised, as she opens up about her struggles with severe PTSD and ADHD. The 45-year-old former model, who was once worth £30 million, is now bankrupt and has been divorced three times. She recently spent time at the Priory clinic for treatment.
Speaking at her Sussex home, known as Mucky Mansion, Price admitted that her mental health issues have taken a toll on her family. “My kids have seen me at my worst. It’s traumatised them,” she said. Price has five children: Harvey, 21, from a relationship with Dwight Yorke; Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-husband Peter Andre; and Jett, 10, and Bunny, 9, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
Price was diagnosed with ADHD earlier this year and says she is “good with anaesthetic” because she “likes being put to sleep”. She has undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries, including multiple boob jobs. Despite her hardships, she remains defiant, stating: “I’m still here, coping.”
The model also revealed that she has been raped three times – as a child, by a celebrity, and at gunpoint in South Africa. She said her therapist at the Priory told her: “We’ve never known anyone to have so many traumatic events happen to them.”
