Katie Price has revealed a gruesome injury after accidentally stabbing herself while preparing a curry. The 47-year-old former glamour model spent Friday night in Accident and Emergency and shared images of the wound on social media.
In a Snapchat post, Price showed a bloodied arm with a deep slit on her wrist, explaining that the knife had torn through ligaments and nerves, leaving half of her left hand numb. She said: 'Last night I accidentally stabbed myself with a knife. You can see on the injury how deep it was. And I had to have stitches.'
The incident comes amid a series of personal updates from Price, who has been documenting her house move and the health struggles of her Sphynx cat, Doris. Doris recently gave birth to a litter, but one kitten died shortly after, and the remaining four have been unwell, requiring bottle feeding by Price and her boyfriend, JJ Salter.
Price has been travelling with the kittens during her UK tour with Kerry Katona. Earlier this week, she expressed distress after the kittens became limp and were rushed to emergency vets. She later confirmed they were kept in overnight, but did not provide an update on their condition. A spokesperson said Price has been following veterinary advice.
