Katie Price is reportedly back on the dating scene just weeks after her split from Lee Andrews, with daughter Princess said to be worried she is moving on too quickly.
The former glamour model, 48, split from her fourth husband Lee Andrews, 43, earlier this month and, according to pals, is already looking for her next romance. And this time, Katie reportedly has one major requirement: he needs to be younger.
Katie's dating requirements
A source tells the Mirror: "Kate hates being single, it's just the way she's wired. She's been burned by the situation with Lee but instead of staying on her own for a bit, she's on the prowl. She doesn't want someone older again, she jokes that wrinkles are the absolute turn off."
But while Katie may be ready to get back out there, Princess, 19, is reportedly not so keen on seeing her mum rush into another relationship. The source claims Princess felt she had to have a word with her mum after the whirlwind romance with Lee.
Princess's warning
Back in February, Princess called Katie 'crazy' over the relationship but added: "If she's happy, I'm happy." Now, with Katie apparently already on the lookout for love again, the source says Princess decided it was time for some motherly dating advice.
"All Princess wants is for her mum to be happy, but given that Kate is actively looking for a relationship, she felt the right thing was to say something. Out of love for her mum, she felt forced to intervene and warn her not to rush into anything too soon. She also tried to encourage her mum to think about the person not just their age, but how compatible they might be and what type of person they are."
Katie's relationship history
It seems Princess may have a point when it comes to her mum's approach to romance. Katie's stepdad Paul Price previously opened up about her need to be in a relationship during a documentary for Sky in June. He said: "She can never be on her own. She's always got to have a man." And Katie certainly has form when it comes to younger men.
Before Lee – who is currently in prison in Dubai for the second time this year – she was loved-up with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 33, for two years. She also had a three-year on and off relationship with Carl Woods, 37, while previously dating Kris Boyson, 37, and Charles Drury, 29, who later went on to date Lauren Goodger.
But the mum-of-five has also experienced a significant age gap in the other direction. Katie has described her marriage to first husband Peter Andre, who is 16 years her senior, as "the best time of her life".
Despite her string of romances, pals claim Katie isn't simply waiting for Mr Right to appear. The source adds: "There's always someone Kate is DM-ing or sending flirty messages to, but she's upped the ante and is on the hunt. She's a single woman now and think she deserves some happiness and fun, although she knows herself she falls in love fast."
