Katie Price Reignites Feud with Daughter Princess at Glamour Awards
Katie Price Feuds with Daughter Princess Andre

Former glamour model Katie Price was spotted enjoying a night out with friend Chloe Khan at the prestigious Glamour Awards in London on Thursday. The outing came just hours after she publicly addressed the ongoing tension with her teenage daughter, Princess Andre, on her popular podcast.

A Night Out Amidst Family Drama

The 47-year-old media personality and her pal, 34-year-old Chloe Khan, appeared to be in high spirits as they left the glitzy ceremony and headed for a cab together. Katie made a striking entrance at the event, commanding attention in a sophisticated long black leather coat paired with matching black boots. Meanwhile, Chloe turned heads in a chic strapless navy pinstripe mini dress, complete with black stockings.

This public appearance followed a revealing episode of The Katie Price Show, where the star opened up about her complicated relationship with her 18-year-old daughter. During the podcast conversation with her sister Sophie, Katie disclosed that she has been spending more time with Heidi, the daughter of fellow celebrity Kerry Katona, at various events.

Podcast Revelations Strain Mother-Daughter Relationship

"She's staying with me for a month, she's going to come to events with me," Katie revealed about Heidi. "So when I'm pictured with Heidi at events, isn't it weird. Because Kerry loves me, and Heidi loves me. Heidi will be at events with me but not Princess."

The situation appears particularly frustrating for Katie, who went on to explain the apparent contradiction in her daughter's behaviour. "Why is Princess hanging around with Heidi and doing stuff, but I'm not allowed to with Princess," she questioned, adding "It's just b******t."

When Sophie suggested that Katie explain her feelings directly to Princess, the mother of five indicated that her daughter prefers to remain neutral in the long-standing drama between Katie and her ex-husband, Peter Andre. According to Katie, Princess has decided not to post content about either parent online to avoid taking sides.

Documentary Snub Fuels Ongoing Tension

This latest development comes just weeks after Princess's emotional Instagram message about mothers, which Katie shared on her own profile with the caption "Thank you gorgeous daughter @princess_andre." The post featured a heartfelt quote about maternal appreciation that Princess had sent to her mother.

The mother-daughter relationship has been under scrutiny since the launch of Princess's ITV documentary, The Princess Diaries, which charted her journey into adulthood. Notably, while her father Peter, stepmother Emily, and brother Junior all featured prominently in the show, Katie was explicitly banned from participating in the filming.

The documentary became ITV2's biggest launch outside of Love Island and Big Brother, offering viewers an intimate look at Princess's life, including her catwalk debut at the Ibiza Fashion Festival and her pursuit of brand partnerships. The series finale featured Peter's emotional speech at Princess's 18th birthday party, an event Katie did not attend.

Katie previously explained her absence, stating she went away to avoid having the celebration "rubbed in her face" that she wasn't invited. She attributed the situation to her ex-husband's unwillingness to be in the same room with her.

However, Princess offered a different perspective when speaking to the Daily Mail, explaining that it would be "weird" for her divorced parents to attend the same party. She described her lifelong practice of celebrating milestones separately with each parent, a routine she intended to follow for her birthday until her mother's travel plans and father's last-minute party arrangements changed the dynamic.

The successful documentary series has been officially renewed for two additional seasons, scheduled for release in 2026, ensuring that public interest in the Andre-Price family dynamics will continue for years to come.
