Reality TV star and media personality Katie Price has moved to address growing concerns from fans about her noticeably slimmer figure, firmly denying rumours she has turned to weight-loss injections.
Fans Voice Worry After London Shopping Trip
The discussion was sparked after Katie was seen in a new Instagram video shopping with her teenage daughter, Princess, in the upscale London department store Selfridges. The mother-daughter duo were filmed picking up a substantial haul of items.
However, the focus for many followers quickly shifted from the shopping spree to Katie's appearance. Commenters expressed alarm, with one writing, "It's worrying I think, just my opinion," and another stating, "I can not believe how she looks now I actually feel sorry for her."
Katie herself has acknowledged her thinner frame, recently branding herself "stick woman". Some supporters defended the star, pointing out that she was seen eating a supermarket sandwich during the trip and suggesting her larger chest might create a smaller-looking silhouette.
Price Denies Using 'Fat Jabs' and Reveals Doctor Visits
Amid the speculation, Katie Price has been unequivocal in dismissing claims she uses so-called 'fat jabs' like Ozempic. Speaking on the Disruptors podcast, she insisted, "I don’t need the Ozempic... I’ve always been skinny."
The star has, however, revealed that she has recently visited doctors for a full check-up, prompted by her mother, Amy Price. On her own podcast, Katie explained, "Yes. I'm going in there to talk about blood tests, MRI, everything she wants me to have to get to the bottom of why the Price is – forget stick man – stick woman."
A source close to the family confirmed to the Mirror that her loved ones are concerned. "They do share their concerns with Kate and have open, honest conversations with her about how she's feeling – including her mental health and her weight loss," the source explained.
Explaining the Weight Fluctuation
Katie Price has attributed her recent weight loss to a return to her natural size after a period where she was heavier due to specific circumstances. She reminded people that she has "always been tiny" historically, even after having children.
She cited two major factors for her previous weight gain: a horrific holiday accident in which she broke both feet, leaving her in a wheelchair and less active, and undergoing IVF treatment in her bid to have more children.
"I say to people, if you look at old pictures of me, even after I’ve had babies, I just shrink back," she said. "Now I’ve gone like back, now the IVF that’s all come out, and I’m more active because I could do more because of my feet, and I’m horse riding again, then naturally, I’m going back athletic again."
The star's comments aim to reassure the public that her current physique is a result of recovered mobility and lifestyle changes, rather than extreme dieting or medical interventions.
