A lipreader has spotted Princess Kate's four-word command to Prince Louis during the Trooping the Colour celebrations on Saturday. The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the event with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, marking the monarch's official birthday.
The Balcony Moment
As the Royal Family gathered on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the RAF Flypast and prepare for the National Anthem, Prince Louis appeared fidgety. Lip reader Jeremy Freeman told The Mirror that Kate leaned over and said: "National anthem. Louis, stand." The eight-year-old promptly corrected his posture and focused for the anthem.
Family Outfits
Prince George, who turns 13 next month, and Prince Louis wore matching navy suits. Princess Charlotte, 11, wore an off-white dress, while Kate looked elegant in pale blue. The King joined the family on the balcony, alongside other royals including Princess Anne, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Trooping the Colour is one of the biggest events in the royal calendar, featuring a procession along The Mall and a balcony appearance. The event has been attended by the Wales children on numerous occasions.
