Reality TV star Jordan Brook, known for his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, has been hospitalised with swelling on the brain and is 'praying for a miracle'. The 31-year-old has been dating Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei, 36, for nearly three years, and the couple are expecting a baby together.
Brook shared an update from his hospital bed on Instagram, writing: 'Unfortunately this is still the view for me. This seems to be a never ending hell at moment.' He added that he is awaiting results from a procedure, and confirmed he has 'inflammation and swelling of the brain'. He described it as 'a really scary time that reassures you we are all human'.
Sophie Kasaei, who is pregnant, has been keeping fans updated on the ordeal. She said earlier this week: 'Jordan is still in the hospital and we are still waiting for answers whilst he is getting treatment and medication.' She explained that it is too risky for her and the baby to visit, but his family are with him. 'He will be there for the next few days and hopefully be on the mend and back home to me and bump very soon,' she added.
On Friday, Kasaei described the experience as 'a nightmare' but expressed hope that Brook will recover. Brook also apologised to work clients for letting them down, saying he will be back as soon as he can.
