Jeremy Clarkson's partner, Lisa Hogan, has delighted fans with an adorable update from Diddly Squat Farm, offering a moment of cheer after a difficult period. The 65-year-old former Top Gear presenter recently revealed that the Oxfordshire farm had been hit by bovine tuberculosis, and one of the puppies from his dog Arya's litter had died.
In a video shared on Instagram, Lisa was seen weighing the playful pups, gently lifting each one and remarking, 'You're so sweet and gentle.' Her caption read: 'Day 13 and it's puppy weigh in day. I weigh them every 3 days, and happy to report, they are all gaining weight and wobbling around on their legs.'
Fans were quick to express their support, with one commenting, 'Ah so so sweet look at them,' while another added, 'Please look after little Lady Lemon, she is so cute.' A third follower said, 'Puppy breath is the best medicine!'
The update comes after Clarkson announced that Arya had given birth earlier this month, joking that while the nation celebrated the Lionesses winning the Euros, he was busy playing midwife. However, the joy was tempered by the loss of one puppy, which Lisa described as 'Mr Grey has gone to fur and feather land.'
Adding to the farm's woes, Clarkson confirmed a bovine TB outbreak, saying, 'We've gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated.' The farm is now locked down for at least two months, though the farm shop remains unaffected.
