Jennifer Lopez in Daring Red Dress at Kevin Hart Roast

Jennifer Lopez turned heads with a daring fashion choice at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival's live special, The Roast of Kevin Hart, held at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California on Sunday at 5pm PT. The 56-year-old pop icon opted for a bra-less look in a Baywatch-style red dress that highlighted her figure.

Dress and Accessories

The dress featured a ruched gathering at the front and a midi-length split that revealed plenty of leg. Lopez completed her ensemble with a red Chanel bag and nude peep-toe kitten heels, curated by stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Her hair was styled by Danielle Priano with waist-length extensions, while makeup artist Scott Barnes contoured her complexion under tinted aviator sunglasses.

Real Estate News

According to Mansion Global, the singer recently reduced the price of her former marital mansion in Beverly Hills from $68 million to nearly $50 million, following her finalized divorce from Ben Affleck on February 21.

At the Event

Once inside, Lopez appeared to thoroughly enjoy the comedy special, laughing alongside Netflix CCO Bela Bajaria. Although she has never worked directly with Kevin Hart, the two have crossed paths at various awards shows since 2014, including this year's Golden Globes.

Upcoming Film

Lopez has an upcoming film, Office Romance, premiering on Netflix on June 5. Directed by Ol Parker, the romantic comedy features Lopez as Jackie Cruz, CEO of Air Cruz, opposite Brett Goldstein as lawyer Daniel Blanchflower. The film also stars Betty Gilpin, Edward James Olmos, Bradley Whitford, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale, and Jackie Sandler.

Career Challenges

Lopez is in need of a hit after recent box office disappointments, including Unstoppable, which earned only $3,966 in 2024 before streaming on Prime Video, and The Kiss of the Spider Woman, which made $2 million against a $30 million budget. She also has upcoming projects like Robert Zemeckis' thriller The Last Mrs. Parrish for Netflix and will produce Bob the Builder for Amazon MGM Studios.

Background

Lopez, who boasts 36 million monthly listeners on Spotify, began her career in 1991 as a Fly Girl on Fox's In Living Color and later danced for Janet Jackson in 1993.
