Celebrity Race Across the World star Jeff Brazier, 46, and his wife Kate, 35, are believed to have quietly separated after a difficult year. The couple, who married in 2018, are said to have grown apart, with Jeff recently ditching his wedding ring during TV appearances.
Jeff, whose ex Jade Goody died in 2009, was spotted without his wedding band while reporting for ITV's Good Morning Britain from Reykjavik. Kate, a PR guru, posted a cryptic Instagram story reading: 'Just an update: SIX PLANETS ARE IN RETROGRADE. That’s why.' She also shared a selfie from a Las Vegas trip without Jeff, captioning it 'Possibly one of the best days of my life.'
According to a source, Kate moved out of their marital home weeks ago and is now living in her Hackney apartment. The couple still follow each other on Instagram but have not posted about each other in months. Kate last posted about Jeff in May 2024, while Jeff shared a golf getaway with her in July.
Jeff has faced a challenging year, including legal action to block his son Freddy from seeing his grandmother, which he later dropped. Freddy, who recently announced he is expecting a child with his girlfriend, has also spoken about his struggles, including a manic episode in 2023.
Jeff posted about his new countryside home, describing it as a 'transitional time' and writing: 'Things don’t just change on their own, we have to design the life we want.' The couple briefly split in 2022, reportedly due to differing social preferences.
