A Place in the Sun's Jasmine Harman has shared a heartwarming tribute to her late co-star Jonnie Irwin. The Channel 4 presenter spent the weekend with Jonnie's family, saying 'my heart is so full.'
Weekend with Jonnie Irwin's Family
The TV star, best known for fronting A Place in the Sun and Escape to the Country, died in 2024 after a battle with cancer. Jasmine Harman, who joined the Channel 4 property show in 2004, was heartbroken when her co-star lost his battle to lung cancer. Jonnie Irwin was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2022 and died in February two years later at the age of 50.
Jasmine regularly updates fans on her life away from the screen, including updates on her health, personal life, and heartwarming family updates. The 50-year-old lives in Spain with her husband Jon and their two children.
The family had some visitors over the weekend, as Jonnie's widow Jessica and her three young sons, Rex, eight, and six-year-old twins Rafa and Cormac, joined in for some fun in the sun.
Jasmine's Emotional Tribute
Sharing a photo of the two families together, Jasmine said: 'Oh Jonnie, you would have loved this weekend. My heart is so full after spending time with Jessica and the boys. You’d be so proud of them.'
She added: 'Watching our families spend time together, sharing laughs, stories and creating new memories, felt so incredibly special. You are always missed, but seeing your boys grow into such wonderful young people is a beautiful reminder that a part of you is still with us every day.'
The TV star also said: 'And dear Jess, I am always in awe of you. Such an amazing woman and wonderful wife and mum.'

It isn't the first time Jasmine has shared a heartwarming tribute to her co-star. Sharing a statement shortly after his death, she wrote: 'Jonnie, you’ve taught me so much in our time as work colleagues and as good friends.'
She continued: 'I have never admired you more than over the last few years as you’ve faced life with cancer with positivity, determination and bloody-mindedness. I’ve never known anyone as strong as you. You have done yourself, your loved ones and all of us proud.'
Jasmine's Journey
Jasmine joined A Place in the Sun in 2004 and has since appeared in over 200 episodes. Her house-hunting skills proved to come in handy when she was looking for a home in Spain for her family. In 2023, she made her dream move away from London to sunny Estepona on Spain's Costa del Sol.
