Jamie Laing and Sophie Habboo are seen in a tense, emotional confrontation in the new trailer for their upcoming Disney+ series, Raising Chelsea. The three-part show, premiering on April 2, follows the Made in Chelsea couple as they navigate their journey to parenthood.
The trailer opens with the couple heading to the Lindo Wing, believing Sophie is going into labour. It then rewinds to show their relationship milestones, including their wedding in April 2023 and the announcement of their pregnancy. Sophie confesses, 'I've always wanted to be a mum,' while describing pregnancy as a 'rollercoaster.'
A particularly fraught moment shows Jamie saying, 'I'm stressed, I'm tired,' to which Sophie tearfully responds, 'But you just go behind my back. That's so unacceptable.' Jamie's mother, Penny Baines, comments, 'This pregnancy, you'd think the Messiah was coming.'
The trailer also reveals that their son, Ziggy, was born via emergency C-section after complications. Jamie explains, 'Bad news is that the baby, his arm is through the cervix, she needs to have an emergency C-section.' The series concludes with Sophie at home feeding Ziggy, who was born in December.
