Kyle Sandilands took aim at Jackie 'O' Henderson's love life during a radio interview with Samantha Armytage on Tuesday. The 47-year-old KIIS FM host joked about his co-host's single status, calling her 'desperate' after she admitted she had no particular type when it came to men.
Jackie, 44, announced her split from husband Lee Henderson in October last year after 15 years of marriage. During the interview, Kyle told Samantha that Jackie was looking for a relationship and preferred 'rough' looking workmen, though he thought a businessman would be a better fit.
Kyle claimed any potential suitor would have to pass his 'stringent rules test', and admitted he preferred Jackie to remain single so he could continue teasing her. 'The last thing I want to hear is, "Oh, we went on this dreamy date..." Vomit. Not interested,' he said.
When Jackie suggested he should want her to be happy, Kyle responded: 'Happiness is being alone for you. You've tried it twice before since I've known you, both times it didn't work.' Jackie was previously married to radio host Phil O'Neil before marrying Lee, with whom she shares an eight-year-old daughter.
