Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner's Wedding Detail 'Means So Much' to Diabetics

Jack Whitehall and Roxy Horner tied the knot last weekend in a lavish £250,000 ceremony at Euridge Manor in Wiltshire. The couple, who share a daughter named Elsie, welcomed VIP guests including James Corden, Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff.

One detail in the wedding photographs has resonated deeply with many: Roxy's continuous glucose monitor, visible on the back of her left arm. The small white plastic disc tracks her blood sugar levels for type 1 diabetes, which she was diagnosed with shortly before her 30th birthday in May 2021.

Roxy has been open about her condition and works with Diabetes UK to raise awareness. By keeping the monitor visible in her wedding photos, she has drawn praise from those who feel represented. One person commented: 'As the mum to a diabetic child, it means so much to them to see others with the tech on display, not being hidden away.'

The bride wore two gowns from Mayfair boutique Galia Lahav, choosing the first dress she tried on for the ceremony. She accessorised with her grandmother's engagement ring and a bell attached to her bouquet as her 'something borrowed'. Jack wore a classic black tie suit with Christian Louboutin shoes, but suffered a wardrobe malfunction when his trousers split as he picked up their daughter.

The couple's 'fairytale wedding' featured Disney music, including 'Beauty and the Beast', and a reading from Winnie The Pooh by Roxy's sister. Their first dance was to Michael Jackson's 'Rock With You', and the eight-tier cake required both of them to cut it together.
