ITV Quietly Drops Every Episode of Harlan Coben True Crime Series

Harlan Coben, the bestselling crime novelist known for his gripping fiction, has taken a bold step into true crime with his new series, Harlan Coben's Final Twist. The show, which debuted quietly on ITVX, features five episodes exploring real-life mysteries rather than fictional plots.

A New Direction for Coben

Coben's novels have been adapted into major Netflix hits like Run Away with James Nesbitt, Fool Me Once starring Michelle Keegan, Joanna Lumley, and Richard Armitage, as well as Safe, Stay Close, and The Stranger. His upcoming Netflix adaptation, I Will Find You, based on his 2023 novel, arrives on June 18. That series follows David Burroughs (Sam Worthington), a man serving a life sentence for killing his son, who discovers evidence that his boy may still be alive.

However, Final Twist marks a departure. In this series, Coben investigates genuine criminal cases, guiding viewers through gripping tales of murder and high-profile crimes. A synopsis explains: "Known for his twisting narratives and intricate plots, Harlan will guide audiences through gripping tales of murder and high-profile crimes. Each story is meticulously unravelled to reveal hidden truths. With exclusive interviews and never-before-seen archival materials, the series will provide an in-depth look at stories where nothing is as it seems."
